Zusammensetzung

  • Chuan XiongRx. Ligustici Chuanxiong3–12 g

    Activates Blood, regulates Qi, expels Wind-Cold, alleviates pain and treats headaches.

    for Blood Deficiency causing menstrual problems including dysmenorrhea, scanty menses, and amenorrhea and Wind-Damp Invasion blocking the Blood vessels causing pain, numbness, and paralysis.
  • Dang GuiRx. Angelicae Sinensis6–15 g

    Tonifies Blood, regulates menses, activates and harmonizes Blood, disperses Cold, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.

    regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.

Symptome

  • Heavy discharge of dark purple blood
  • Menstrual blood has a sticky, viscous quality
  • Clots may or may not be present
  • The interval between periods becomes shorter (menstruation arriving early)
  • A pounding or racing sensation in the chest
  • A lightheaded, unsteady feeling
  • Vision that is indistinct or hazy
  • A complexion that is pale and dull
  • Nails that appear pale
  • Pain affecting the abdomen
  • Menstruation that is irregular and scanty in volume

Vorsichtshinweise

  • Exercise caution when the patient has digestive weakness.

  • Exercise caution for menstrual disorders underlain by Qi and Blood Deficiency.
