Anmerkungen

  • Taken internally, it clears Heat from the Upper Jiao, transforms Phlegm and generates Fluids, though these uses are now uncommon.
  • Applied externally, it restrains Dampness, closes non-healing sores, eases pain and stops bleeding.
  • It is also said to promote the growth of new flesh.
  • Er Cha and Alumen Ming Fan both drain Dampness and absorb seepage. Ming Fan resolves toxicity, kills parasites, dries Dampness and relieves itching, and its primary use is for Dampness. Er Cha has more transformative power, and is used for pus-filled sores and chronic non-healing sores; it also stops bleeding from external trauma.
