Composition
- Shi GaoGypsum Fibrosum5–30 g
Clears Heat in the Qi Stage, drains Fire, relieves irritability, quenches thirst and clears Blazing Stomach Fire.
Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability and resolves Dampness.
Releases the exterior, expels External Wind, raises Yang, expels Wind-Dampness and alleviates pain.
Aromatically transforms Dampness, releases the Exterior, dispels Summerheat and transforms turbidity.
Clears Heat and relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.

Cautions
- Not to be used in cases of Stomach Yin Deficiency.
- Not to be used for tongue thrusting caused by congenital Qi Deficiency.
Notes
- Increasing the dosage of Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng and Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao can lessen the formula's anti-inflammatory action.
- This formula has been found to lower fever, ease inflammation, calm the mind, increase urination and stimulate the secretion of gastric juice.
