About
Combining Chinese medicine and software engineering.
My name is Dominik Myszkowski — I'm a therapist of classical Chinese medicine and, at the same time, a software engineer with over 20 years of experience. I practice acupuncture and herbal medicine. This site is where those two crafts meet: the writing and the knowledge base grow out of study and clinical work; the software grows out of wanting better tools for both.
The name of this site comes from the Neijing (the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Chinese Medicine), the work that underpins the whole of Chinese medicine. What is published here is a broad body of knowledge drawn from the source texts, clinical research, and the practice of both myself and other therapists. The knowledge base is written mainly for practitioners and students of Chinese medicine, but it is open to everyone — no account, free of charge. In time I'd like this place to become not only a repository of knowledge, but also a platform for exchanging experience and discussing the practice of this medicine.
If you run a practice yourself, have a look at our app — a fine tool that makes running a clinic easier and improves not just how efficiently you work, but your diagnosis and treatment too. There's a free trial, so you risk nothing. If you just want to read, the blog and the knowledge base are free and open: no account, no charge.
