    Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.

  • Zhi MuRz. Anemarrhenae6–12 g

    Clears Heat from the Qi Stage, clears Heat from the Lung and Stomach, drains Fire, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness and generates fluids.

    for epidemic diseases.
  • Sheng Di HuangRaw Rx. Rehmanniae5–30 g

    Clears Heat. cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and Generates fluids

  • Mu Dan PiCx. Moutan5–12 g

    Clears Heat., cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, activates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Liver Fire, drains pus and reduces swelling.

Psoriasis arising from Heat at the Ying stage

Symptome

  • Red, coin-sized maculae appear on the scalp, trunk, limbs, and elsewhere, multiplying quickly
  • A layer of scale covers the lesions
  • Once the scale is peeled away, a glossy, light-pink membrane is exposed
  • Symptoms peak in summer
  • In chronic cases, it may occur regardless of season
  • Petechiae lie underneath the membrane
  • Healing of the lesions leaves no scar
  • Some nails may show fine dot-like depressions
  • Occasionally the presentation is widespread skin redness topped with fine scaling, or indentations in the nail plate
  • Pruritus can be severe
