Localisation

  1. 014 cun above the midpoint of the posterior hairline, 1.5 cun above DU-17 Naohu.
  2. 02On the posterior midline of the head, 1.5 cun above DU-17 Naohu, halfway between DU-16 Fengfu and DU-20 Baihui.

Puncture

  1. 01Needle subcutaneously, 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
  2. 02Moxibustion may be used.
  3. 03Insert transversely, 0.5 to 1 cun.
