Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, invigorates the Blood and reduces swellings: Sores and abscess, pruritic sores and rashes, erysipelas swollen and painful throat and cancer
Treats erysipelas and furuncle topically
Promotes urination, and unblocks painful urinary dysfunction: Hot, painful urinary dysfunction or edema with urinary dysfunction

It further expels Phlegm, stops cough, and relieves itching.
The leaves are applied topically for pemphigus and other toxic swellings, reducing Heat, dispersing Blood, and suppressing the toxic effects of minerals and metals; they also expel corrupted Blood in women and treat bronchitis along with a variety of cancers.

The fruit restores the sinews and reduces deep-seated swellings.
