Composition

  • Ma HuangHb. Ephedrae6–18 g

    Induces sweating, releases the exterior, disseminates and facilitates Lung Qi, calms wheezing, stops coughing, promotes urination, reduces edema and warms and disperses Cold pathogens.

    for Wind-edema.
  • Shi GaoGypsum Fibrosum8–48 g

    Clears Excess Heat from the Lungs.

    decreases muscular swelling.
  • Sheng JiangRz. Zingiberis Recens3–9 g

    Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, warms the Lungs and stops cough.

    for External Wind-Cold.
  • Gan CaoRz. Glycyrrhizae2–6 g

    Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the properties of other herbs.

  • Da ZaoFr. Zizyphi Jujube3–5 g

    Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
