Manifestations

  • Body build tends toward obesity
  • Long-standing infertility, or
  • A history of miscarriage, with at least two years having passed since the last conception
  • The complexion is sallow with a whitish cast
  • Lightheadedness
  • There is a general tendency toward inactivity and low motivation
  • Sleepiness
  • A sticky sensation in the mouth accompanied by copious Phlegm
  • A feeling of fullness or tightness in the chest
  • A bloated, distended abdomen
  • A copious, paste-like white vaginal discharge
  • Menstruation arriving late (the cycle may extend to every 50-70 days), with a light flow, or
  • Absence of menstrual periods
  • Uterine myoma may be present, or
  • Blockage of the fallopian tubes
