Manifestations
- Recurring bouts of abdominal pain that shift location
- Pain intensifies around the navel
- The pain can bring on vomiting of clear fluid or of parasites themselves
- When parasites invade the Heart: epigastric pain severe enough that the child cries out, squeezing shut the eyes, arching the back, clenching the fists, with oppression, confusion, drooling of saliva, vomiting of clear fluid, wasted and exhausted limbs, and a dark greenish-yellow complexion.

Précautions
- Not to be used during pregnancy.
- Avoid prolonged use.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
- Minium (Qian Dan) is poisonous and must be avoided.
- Alumen (Ming Fan) carries numerous adverse effects.
Notes
Pulverize the ingredients and bind them into pills using wheat dough. Dose is 6g, taken once a day before eating, washed down with rice soup; for children the dose is 1.5g.
