- It reduces pus formation and expels pus from open sores, promoting healing.
- As an oil applied to the temples, it calms the Spirit and treats fear and fright.
- Qian Dan and Calomelas Qing Fen are both toxic substances used externally for toxic sores. Qing Fen expels toxins, promotes tissue regeneration, kills parasites and stops itching, and is applied externally for scabies, tinea and syphilitic chancre. Qian Dan acts more strongly to eliminate toxicity and generate flesh, and is used for toxic abscess and non-healing ulcer.
