  1. 01On the leg's medial side, 5 cun above KI-3 Taixi, along the line joining KI-3 Taixi to KI-10 Yingu, roughly 1 cun behind the tibia's medial edge.
  2. 02Found where the lower third meets the upper two-thirds of the span between KI-3 Taixi and KI-10 Yingu, level with LIV-5 Ligou.
  3. 035 cun straight up from KI-3 Taixi, at the gastrocnemius muscle belly's lower end, along the KI-3 Taixi–KI-10 Yingu line.
  4. 04Roughly 5 cun above KI-3 Taixi, 2 cun behind the tibia's medial border.

Puncture

  1. 01Insert perpendicularly, 1 to 1.5 cun.
  2. 02Needle straight in, 0.5 to 0.7 cun.
