1. 01Found in the hollow beneath the lower edge of the clavicle, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline — note that this 2 cun line falls midway between the midline and the mammillary line.
2. 02In the depression below the clavicle's lower border, 2 cun lateral to the REN channel.
3. 032 cun lateral to REN-21 Xuanji, in the hollow below the inferior edge of the clavicle's medial end.

1. 01Insert obliquely, 0.3 to 0.5 cun.

3. 03Insert transversely, directing the needle laterally along the clavicle's lower border, 0.5 to 1 cun.
