Localisation
- 01Two cun lateral to REN-19 Zigong, within the second intercostal space.
- 02In the second intercostal space, 2 cun from the midline.
Puncture
- 01Insert at a slant, 0.5 to 0.8 cun. Caution: avoid inserting too deeply.
- 02Needle obliquely, 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
- 03Moxibustion may be used.
- 04Insert transversely-obliquely, directed laterally along the intercostal space, 0.5 to 1 cun.
