Composition
Tonifies Blood, invigorates and harmonizes Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Clears Heat. cools the Blood, relieves Fire toxins, encourages rashes and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.

Manifestations
- Lesions about the size of a small coin — red, pale red, moist pale red, dark, or hyperpigmented — appearing on the scalp, trunk, limbs and elsewhere, and multiplying quickly
- Scales cover the lesions, either closely adherent or piled up, and they either flake off readily when scratched or are thick, firm and clinging
- Once the scale is lifted, a shiny, light pink membrane is exposed
- Small petechial spots lie beneath this membrane
- Lesions of long duration may merge together
- Lesions can be painful or develop fissures
- Pruritus can be severe
Indications
Psoriasis, treated topically
Notes
Place the herbs in a pot with 5000 ml of vegetable oil and let them sit for 2 hours, then bake until they turn yellow; apply to the affected area 1-2 times daily.
