Manifestations

  • Fluid accumulation in the abdomen
  • Yang-type jaundice, with the sclera and skin a bright yellow hue
  • Bilateral rib pain accompanied by a sense of fullness
  • Possibly, pain in the right subcostal region
  • Bitterness perceived in the mouth
  • A sensation of nausea
  • Retching up fluid that is sour and bitter
