- Nails appear purplish in color
- Skin that is parched
- Patches of skin, whether small or extensive, showing blue, dark or purplish discoloration
- Visible varicose veins and spider veins
- Coldness in the hands and feet
- A propensity toward bleeding dark blood or blood clots
- Fever accompanied by restlessness

This herb's toxicity means it must not be used unprepared except in severe, life threatening conditions, and even then only under very careful monitoring.
Notes
Pulverize the ingredients into a fine powder and take 3 grams, three times daily.
