Xue JieSanguis Draconis12 g
Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, alleviates pain and stops bleeding.
Ru XiangOlibanum10 g

Stagnant Blood lodged in the Large Intestine

Long-standing diarrhea accompanied by a sense of incomplete evacuation or straining (tenesmus)
The stool may appear purple or black in color
It can be sticky or tar-like in consistency
Mucus or clotted Blood will be present in it
Abdominal pain that stays in one fixed spot and is sharp or stabbing
It is typically felt in the lower left quadrant
Pressure on the area makes the pain worse
Masses may be felt on palpation
A darkened facial complexion
Lips that appear dark
Dark circles encircling the eyes
Spider naevi or other vascular irregularities across the abdomen, face and legs, especially near the inner knees and ankles

Dysenteric disorders

Prepare as a decoction to be administered as an enema.
