Stops bleeding and, transforms Blood Stasis, reduces swelling, alleviates pain, removes extravasated Blood and invigorates the Blood.

Manifestaciones
- An awareness of one's own heartbeat, often irregular
- Sharp, needle-like pain in the area anterior to the heart
- A stifling tightness felt in the chest
- At times a tugging pain extending down the inner arm (most often the left)

- When severe: cold extremities together with bluish discoloration of the lips and nails
