Zusammensetzung

  • Yi Yi RenSm. Coicis8–25 g

    Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, clears Heat, expels pus and clears Damp-Heat.

    • Dong Gua Zi
    for scanty urine and edema due Damp Obstruction.
    for Lung abscess.
  • Dong Gua ZiSm. Benincasae5–15 g

    Clears Heat, expels Phlegm, expels pus, moistens the Lungs and drains Dampness.

    for Intestinal abscess.
    for Lung or Large Intestinal abscess that has formed pus.
  • Mang XiaoNatrii Sulfas5–15 g

    Purges accumulations, guides out Stagnation, softens hardness, moistens Dryness, clears Heat, drains Fire and reduces swelling.

    for constipation due to Heat in the Stomach and Intestines.
    for moderate constipation due to accumulation of Excess Heat.
  • Mu Dan PiCx. Moutan4–12 g

    Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, drains pus and reduces swelling.

    Tao Ren,* for abdominal pain, constipation, and low grade fever associated with unsuppurated abdominal abscess.
  • Tao RenSm. Persicae4–12 g

    Breaks up Blood Stasis , invigorates Blood circulation, moistens the Intestines, unblocks the bowels and drains abscesses.

    for severe abdominal infection.
  • Cang ZhuRz. Atractylodis4–12 g

    Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen and clears Dampness from the Lower *Jiao*.

  • Da HuangRx. et Rz. Rhei1.5–5 g

    Drains Heat, purges accumulations, drains Fire, transforms Dampness, promotes urination,invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and reduces Fire toxicity.

  • Gan CaoRx. Glycyrrhizae1.5–3 g

Symptome

  • Distention of the abdomen
  • Skin that is dry and flaky
  • A feeling of tightness
  • The appearance of a mass
  • Soft to the touch on palpation
  • No sensation of thirst
  • Possibly a reluctance to drink fluids
  • The lower abdomen feels sore and tender
  • Absence of fever
  • Difficulty passing stool
  • The condition does not get better
  • Swelling on the right side of the abdomen, soft to the touch and only mildly painful
  • Cold hands and feet
  • A complexion that is either gray or pale
