Symptome
- A stabbing, knife-like pain in the epigastrium that stays in one fixed spot
- Distention together with pain in the epigastrium or abdomen
- Discomfort may begin on and off, later turning persistent
- Eating brings on intense pain
- The discomfort can spread through to the back
- The epigastrium is averse to being pressed and to warmth
- Discomfort dominates over distention, or
- There is pain without any distention
- Difficulty swallowing
- Rumbling sounds in the epigastric region
- Possible palpable lumps or masses in the abdomen or epigastrium
