Zusammensetzung
- Wu Bei ZiGalla Chinensis1.5–7 g
Astringes Lung Qi, stops cough and cools Deficiency Fire.
for cough at dusk due to Yin Deficiency Fire Blazing upward and irritating the Lungs. Astringes Lung Qi, stops cough, astringes sweat, generates fluids, tonifies the Kidneys and astringes Jing.
Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Nourishes the Lung and stops cough.

Symptome
- Hoarseness that fluctuates between milder and more pronounced degrees
- Speech becomes possible only with considerable effort, and the voice is faint
- Sustaining speech over an extended period proves difficult
- Tiredness or prolonged talking worsens the condition
- Resting may bring some improvement to the hoarseness
- A slight soreness in the laryngeal region, dry and uncomfortable in character
- Frequent throat-clearing is commonly observed
- Both the larynx and vocal cords show mild redness, slight swelling, and dulled borders
- A dry cough producing little sputum
- A sticky discharge is frequently present
- The glottis fails to open and close fully, or its movement is hindered
