  • Gua LouFr. Trichosanthis9–30 g

    Clears Lung Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm and regulates *Qi.*

  • Shi HuHb. Dendrobii6–20 g

    Nourishes the Yin, clears Heat, generates fluids, enriches Kidney Yin, reduces Heat from Deficiency and augments *Jing.*

    for low grade fever, thirst, blurred vision and muscular aches and pains from injured fluids due to Heat, as in late stage febrile disease.
  • Xuan ShenRx. Scrophulariae7–30 g

    Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes *Yin*.

    for Kidney Yin Deficiency with Fire Blazing.
    for constipation due to Dryness and sore, dry throat due to Deficiency Fire.
  • Mai Men DongRx. Ophiopogonis6–15 g

    Moistens the Lungs, nourishes the *Yin, nourishes Stomach Yin and generates fluids.*

    for thirst, constipation, irritability and low-grade fever due to Stomach Yin Deficiency.
