Anmerkungen
- Cleavers has long been valued by herbalists as a lymphatic tonic and diuretic. The lymph system flushes toxins out of tissues and returns them to the bloodstream, where the Liver and kidneys filter them out; this cleansing action is what makes cleavers helpful for conditions such as psoriasis and arthritis that respond to blood purification. As a dependable diuretic, it helps clear gravel and urinary stones and treats urinary infections. In cats, these same actions make it a safe long-term support for feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), and it may also help with chronic low-grade kidney inflammation. Research has shown that cleavers extract lowers blood pressure without slowing the heart rate or producing harmful side effects.
