Lokalisation
- 01On the thigh's medial side, 6 cun above SP-10 Xuehai, along the line joining SP-10 Xuehai to SP-12 Chongmen. Note: this is roughly two hand-widths above SP-10 Xuehai, or midway between the tibiofemoral joint line and SP-12 Chongmen.
- 026 cun proximal to SP-10 Xuehai, on the medial side of the sartorius muscle.

- 01Insert perpendicularly, 0.5–1 cun.
- 02Caution: needling too deeply risks puncturing the femoral artery.
- 03Moxa may be used.
