Localisation
On the back of the hand, roughly 0.5 cun proximal to the space between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpophalangeal joints.
Puncture
Needle perpendicularly or obliquely, 0.5-1 cun deep, producing local distention, aching soreness and sometimes numbness that radiates to the fingertips.
Indications
- Stiff neck
- Migraine
- Stomach pain
- Sore throat
- Pain in the shoulder and arm
