Localisation
On the sole of the foot, in the hollow just proximal to the metatarsophalangeal joints of the 2nd and 3rd toes.
Puncture
Insert perpendicularly to a depth of 0.3-0.5 cun.
Indications
- Toe pain
- Convulsions in infants
- Regurgitation of sour fluid
- Convulsive seizures
- Vomiting of clear fluid
