Localisation
A set of four points on the vertex, each 1 cun from DU-20 Baihui — one anterior, one posterior, and one on each lateral side.
Puncture
- 01Insert subcutaneously to a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun.
- 02Moxibustion may also be used.
- 03Oblique insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- 04Insert transversely, 0.5 to 1.5 cun.
