Localisation
Found at the apex of an imagined equilateral triangle, the base of which runs from the upper, posterior edge of the femur's greater trochanter to the ischial tuberosity.
Puncture
Perpendicular insertion, 2 to 3 cun deep.

- Lower-limb paralysis from paraplegia
