Localisation
- 013.5 cun lateral to the spinous process of L1.
- 023.5 cun lateral to the posterior midline, level with the lower edge of the L1 spinous process.
Puncture
- 01Perpendicular insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
- 02Angle the needle medially, 0.8 to 1 cun.
- 03Insert straight in, 0.5 to 0.8 cun.
- 04Moxibustion may be used.
Actions
- Promotes Qi flow between the Upper and Middle Burners
- Clears local Qi and Blood Stagnation.

- Enlargement of the Liver or Spleen
- Gastritis
- Enteritis
- Abdominal mass
