Localisation

  1. 01On the lower abdomen, 1 cun below the umbilicus and 4 cun above the upper border of the pubic symphysis, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline (REN-7 Yinjiao).
  2. 02Located 1 cun below the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to REN-7 Yinjiao.

Puncture

  1. 01Insert perpendicularly, 1 to 1.5 cun.
  2. 02Caution: needling too deeply may penetrate the peritoneal cavity.
  3. 03Perpendicular puncture, 0.5 to 1 cun.
  4. 04Moxibustion may be used.
