Localisation

  1. 015 cun proximal to the ankle's lateral malleolus, at the fibula's anterior edge.
  2. 025 cun directly above the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the fibula's anterior border.

Puncture

  1. 01Straight insertion, 1–1.5 cun; expect soreness spreading up to the knee and down to the top of the foot.
  2. 02Perpendicular puncture, 0.7–1 cun.
  3. 03Moxibustion may be applied.
