Localisation
- 01Located on the midline, 3.5 cun above the anterior hairline's midpoint, which places it 1.5 cun in front of DU-20 Baihui.
- 02On the head's midline, 1.5 cun in front of DU-20 Baihui, equivalently 3.5 cun behind the anterior hairline.
Puncture
- 01Insert subcutaneously to a depth of 0.3-0.5 cun.
- 02Moxibustion may be used.
- 03Insert at an angle, 0.5-1 cun deep.
- 04Insert transversely, 0.5-1 cun.
- 05Caution: avoid needling this point in infants whose fontanelle remains open.
