Composition
Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, clears Heat, expels pus and clears Damp-Heat.
Disperses Cold and Dampness, warms the channels and stops pain.

Syndromes traités
An Intestinal abscess that has already suppurated, caused by Damp-Heat combined with Blood Stasis in the Lower Jiao
Manifestations
- A distended abdomen
- Skin that is dry and flaky
- A sensation of tautness
- The appearance of a lump
- A soft feel when palpated
- No sensation of thirst
- Possibly a dislike of drinking fluids
- The lower abdomen feels sore and tender to pressure
- Cramping pain in the lower abdomen
- Absence of fever
- The condition does not resolve
- Swelling on the right side of the abdomen, soft to palpation and only mildly painful
- Chilled limbs
- A pale or ashen complexion
- Corps de la langue
- Pale in color
- Enduit
- Thin in texture and white in color

- Rapid, or Rapid combined with Emptiness and Weakness

- An abscess of the intestine
- Appendicitis, both acute and chronic forms
- Persistent, non-resolving abscesses
- Cases of pemphigus
- Cases of psoriasis
- Cases of endometritis
- Cases of metritis
- Keloid scarring
- Localized peritonitis
- Keratotic thickening of the palms
- Wart growths
- Long-standing sinusitis
- Warts of the genital region
- Eczematous conditions
- Cases of neurodermatitis
- Cases of scleroderma
- Cases of prostatitis
- Inflammatory disease of the pelvis
- Cholecystitis, both acute and chronic
- Long-standing osteomyelitis
- Fistula associated with hemorrhoids
- Diseases caused by fungal infection
- Discharge from the vagina
- A feeling of fullness and distention in the abdomen
Modifications
For cases where Stagnation is more pronounced, with a swollen, lumpy abdomen
When fever signals Exterior Heat
For an advanced-stage Intestinal Abscess involving Heat and toxin, together with Yang Deficiency and an abdominal mass
When Spleen Qi Deficiency is present
For presentations of fatigue, poor appetite, a pale tongue and a weak pulse
