Composition

  • Da HuangRx. et Rz. Rhei3–15 g

    Drains Heat, purges accumulations, drains Fire, transforms Dampness, promotes urination, eliminates Phlegm, drains Heat from the Blood, invigorates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.

    for Eliminates obstruction in the Intestines for severe constipation with passage of liquid but no solid stool.
  • Huang QiRx. Scutellariae9–30 g

    Tonifies Qi and Blood, promotes urination, reduces edema, generates flesh and expels toxins.

  • Zhi ZiFr. Gardenia3–12 g

    Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat, relieves toxicity and cools and activates the Blood.

  • Gan CaoRx. Glycyrrhizae3–30 g

    Tonifies the Spleen, augments *Qi, resolves Phlegm, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.*

  • Mang XiaoNatrii Sulfas4–18 g

    Purges accumulations, guides out Stagnation, softens hardness, moistens Dryness, clears Heat and drains Fire.
