Manifestations
- Skin that is easily provoked and reactive
- Patients perceive heat in the skin, especially when flushing occurs
- The central face — commonly the forehead and chin — appears reddened
- Pressing on the area causes it to whiten
- Papules resembling acne lesions
- Acne-like pustules develop, though blackheads (comedones) are absent
- When severe, the pustules can progress into nodules that are cystic or granulomatous
- Rhinophyma, an enlargement of the nose sometimes called 'brandy nose'

Notes
Pulverize into a fine powder, then combine with honey to make a paste; keep it in a sealed jar and apply for five minutes each morning and each night before sleep.
