Manifestations
- Aching and pain across the head, neck, shoulder, upper back and upper arm
- Intense, stabbing pain
- Pain confined to one location
- Pain that intensifies at night and eases during the day
- Pressure aggravates the pain
- A dizzy sensation
- A heavy head accompanied by a sense of being wrapped
- Cramps affecting all four limbs
- Mental restlessness
- Emotional unease
- A pounding sensation in the heart
- A sense of tightness in the chest
- The flanks feel distended
- Dryness of the mouth
- Diminished appetite
- A nauseated feeling
- Episodes of vomiting
- Stools that are loose or sticky in consistency
- A sensation of blockage in the throat
- A cough producing abundant sputum
- Fullness and distention felt in the abdomen and epigastrium
- The fingernails appear blue-tinged, sunken, concave and dull
- Skin that is dry and itchy
