1. 01Just beneath the buttock, along the line running straight above UB-40 Weizhong, at the midpoint of the transverse gluteal crease, in a hollow between the hamstring muscles.
2. 02On the back of the thigh, at the center of the transverse crease beneath the buttock.
3. 03On the posterior thigh, at the center of the lower gluteal crease.
4. 04Found at the midpoint of the transverse gluteal fold.

1. 01Insert perpendicularly to a depth of 1–2 cun.
2. 02A straight insertion of 2–3 cun elicits local distention and soreness, or a numb, electric-shock-like sensation traveling down the leg.
3. 03Needle perpendicularly 1–1.5 cun.
