Localización
- 013 cun proximal to the patella's superolateral edge, between the rectus femoris and vastus lateralis muscles.
- 02On the thigh, along the line from the patella's lateral border to the anterior superior iliac spine, in a hollow 3 cun above the patella's upper edge. Note: roughly one hand's breadth above the patella, or halfway between ST-32 Futu and the patella.
- 03With the knee bent, the point lies 3 cun above the patella's laterosuperior border, on the line connecting that border to the anterior superior iliac spine.
Punción
- 01Insert straight, 1–3 cun.
- 02Needle perpendicularly or obliquely, 1–1.5 cun.
- 03Puncture perpendicularly, 0.7–1 cun.
- 04Moxibustion may be used.
