Zhourong

On the chest's lateral aspect, within the second intercostal space, 6 cun from the midline of the sternum.

1. 01Insert obliquely along the intercostal space, 0.5–1 cun.
2. 02Caution: Do not needle deeply — perpendicular insertion carries a significant risk of pneumothorax.
3. 03Insert at a slant, 0.5–0.8 cun.
4. 04Needle obliquely, 0.3–0.5 cun.
5. 05Moxibustion may be used.
