- According to one source, it nourishes dried Blood.
- One source states it treats high blood pressure.
- Cinnabar Lotus Plumule Zhu Lian Zi Xin cools Heat and calms the Spirit more strongly and is often used for Deficiency Heat disturbing the Interior with restlessness and insomnia; because Cinnabar is toxic, however, this form is not recommended.
