Notas

  • Typically, this formula is prepared as a paste or plaster with tea water, honey, fresh Ye Ju Hua (Flos Chrysanthemi Indici) juice, sesame oil, wine, petroleum jelly, and similar substances.
  • For swellings that are hot, green tea and/or tea made from Flos Chrysanthemi Indici Ye Ju Hua work best.
  • A paste made from Chinese scallion tea can help promote the discharge of pus.
  • Yellow wine may be used to soften carbuncles and encourage pus expulsion.
  • If the infection lies deeper, combine with black vinegar.
  • Sesame oil is suitable for burns, or lacquer sores, or may be applied to herpes sores.
  • Should the powder dry out on the skin, lightly mist it with warm water to restore moisture.
  • Depending on the condition type, covering the head of the sore (for instance, with boils) is advised to help it come to a head.
