Composición
Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces swellings and abscesses and expels pus, especially in the Lungs.
Clears the Liver, clears Heat and resolves Dampness.
Disperses Wind and Dampness and opens the nasal passages.
Aromatically transforms Dampness and releases the Exterior.
Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, expels Wind-Dampness and relieves pain.
Activates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat and soothes irritability.
Clears Heat, dries Dampness and calms ascending Liver *Yang*.

Manifestaciones
- Long-standing nasal and sinus blockage that fluctuates and comes and goes, or
- Nasal congestion that is constant or unremitting
- A long-term flow of abundant thin, white or sticky mucus that has no real odor, although the patient may think otherwise
- Wind and Cold exposure makes the discharge worse
- Symptoms can worsen at night or while lying down and improve during daylight hours
- Mucous membranes appear pale and puffy
- A sense of smell that changes and does not last, or
- A fading, short-lived sense of smell, or its complete absence, or
- A lasting, irreversible loss of smell
- A dull or heavy-feeling headache accompanied by lightheadedness
- Susceptible to catching colds
- A sensation of heaviness in the head
- A feeling of being lightheaded
- Breathing that feels short or labored
- A voice that sounds feeble, or
- A disinclination to talk
- A general lack of energy
- Sweating that happens without exertion
- A feeble cough producing thin, white or watery phlegm
- A complexion that looks pale and wan
- Pain localized to the sinuses
- Headache, usually intense, at the forehead, cheekbones, or temples
- Long-standing sinus inflammation and stuffiness that intensifies under stress or emotional strain
- Occasional drainage down the throat may be present
- Headache felt at the forehead or the temples
- Tightness across the neck and shoulders
- Eyes that appear red
- A flushed appearance of the face
- A tendency to feel irritable

- Tightness or discomfort beneath the ribs

- Nasal congestion that is longstanding and unbroken, or
- Postnasal drainage that is sticky and yellow or white
- The nasal mucous membranes look puffy, firm, and/or dark purple
