Zusammensetzung

  • Shi GaoGypsum Fibrosum6 g

    Clears Heat in the Qi Stage, drains Fire, relieves irritability, quenches thirst and clears Excess Heat from the Lungs.

    • Huang Qin, Huang Lian
    Huang Bai,* for toxic Heat with infection.
  • Ma HuangRx. Ephedrae9 g

    Induces sweating and releases the Exterior.

    • Shi Gao
    for cough from Heat Obstructing the Lungs with wheezing, flaring of the nostrils and fever.
  • Dan Dou ChiSm. Sojae Preparata9 g

    Releases the Exterior, eliminates irritability, harmonizes the Middle Jiao and relieves stuffy sensations in the chest.

    for insomnia and irritability due to Wind-Heat, Exterior Heat as it first enters the interior and late-stage residual Heat trapped in the chest and diaphragm with irritability, restlessness, headache, stifling sensation in the chest, vexation, insomnia, expression of rashes and nausea.

    for drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
    for High fever, irritability, dry mouth and throat, and dark urine due to Fire toxin in the three burners.

Symptome

  • Chills together with fever, or
  • Pronounced fever
  • Possibly fever alone
  • Absence of sweating
  • General body aches
  • Inability to sweat
  • Head pain
  • Coughing
  • Wheezing, asthmatic breathing
  • A dislike of cold
  • Fluid swelling
  • Dryness inside the nose
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Possibly blotchy skin eruptions
  • Confused or rambling speech
  • Flat, discolored skin patches
  • A sensation of thirst
  • A reddened face and eyes
  • Possibly nosebleeds
  • Possibly coughing up blood
  • Agitation
  • Irritability that may progress to delirium

  • Redness of the eyes

Modifikationen

Vorsichtshinweise

  • Not to be used when the absence of sweating stems from Yin Deficiency.
  • Must not be used in cases of Deficiency.
