Zusammensetzung

  • Han Fang JiRx. Stephaniae Tetrandrae9–12 g

    Promotes urination, reduces edema especially in the lower body, expels Wind-Dampness and alleviates pain.

    • Fu Ling, Gui Zhi
    Gan Cao, for edema in constitutionally weak patients and swelling due to Leg Qi*.
  • Huang QiRx. Astragali6–15 g

    Tonifies Wei Qi, stabilizes the Exterior, aids circulation of moisture downward from the face, promotes urination and reduces edema.

    for Wind edema with numbness, pain, swelling of the face and extremities, sweating, sensitivity to Wind, and reduced urination.
    • Han Fang Ji, Gui Zhi
    Fu Ling,* for superficial floating edema with swelling of the extremities.
  • Gui ZhiRam. Cinnamomi6–9 g

    Releases the Exterior, assists Yang, warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels, warms the Middle and directs Turbid Yin downward.

    for Wind-Cold Damp Bi.
    unblocks Yang and facilitates the removal of congested fluids associated with Yang Deficiency edema.
  • Fu LingPoria6–18 g

    Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and strengthens the Spleen.

    for Spleen and Heart Deficiency causing facial edema, palpitations and shortness of breath.
  • Gan CaoRx. Glycyrrhizae3–6 g

    Tonifies the Spleen, augments *Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.*

  • Edema of the skin type

Modifikationen

Vorsichtshinweise

  • Contraindicated in patients whose skin edema involves Heat Stagnation.
  • Contraindicated in patients with Internal edema showing a deep pulse.

Anmerkungen

Administer three to four times each day.
