Symptome

  • Dark or over-pigmented patches roughly coin-sized appear on the scalp, trunk, limbs and elsewhere
  • A thick, firm scale clings tightly to the surface; lifting it exposes a shiny, pale pink membrane beneath
  • The skin may thicken and toughen (lichenification)
  • Patches present for a long time may merge into one another
