Wirkungen & indikationen
- Calms the Shen and soothes the nerves
- Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, cools the Blood and subdues hyperactivity of Liver Yang and lowers blood pressure
- Malignant tumors, leukemia, lymphosarcoma, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, primary thrombocytopenic purpura, swelling toxin of welling abscesses, sores and scalds
Kontraindikationen
- Caution: its toxins can accumulate and cause nerve cell degeneration.
- Possible side effects include hair loss, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, muscle pain, finger numbness, and fever.
- Avoid in bone marrow deficiency resulting from chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
Anmerkungen
- It has demonstrated an ability to inhibit cancer cell growth.
- Its primary use is in Hodgkin's disease and pediatric acute leukemia.
