Xiongxiang

In the third intercostal space, 6 cun from the midsternal line.

1. 01Insert at an angle, 0.5–0.8 cun.
2. 02Caution: Avoid deep insertion; going in perpendicularly carries significant risk of pneumothorax.
3. 03Insert obliquely along the intercostal space, 0.5–1 cun.
4. 04Moxa may be used.
