1. 01On the abdomen, in the hollow along the lateral edge of the rectus abdominis muscle, 3 cun above SP-15 Daheng. Note: In patients with a narrow subcostal angle, the point can fall on the rib margin; in that case, locate it more medially instead, or needle transversely along the costal margin.
2. 02On the abdomen, in the hollow at the lateral border of the rectus abdominis muscle, 4 cun from the midline.
3. 033 cun superior to SP-15 Daheng, 3.5 cun lateral to the abdomen's median line.
4. 043 cun superior to the umbilicus's center and 4 cun from the front midline.

1. 01Insert perpendicularly, 0.5–1 cun. Caution: In thin patients, deep insertion may enter the peritoneal cavity, and may also penetrate an enlarged Spleen.
