- 01Insert transversely-obliquely, directed laterally along the intercostal space, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- 02Caution: needling too deep, whether perpendicular or oblique, may puncture the Lung.
- 03Insert at a slant, 0.5 to 0.8 cun.
- 04Needle obliquely, 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
- 05Moxibustion may be used.
